Greenwich Leisure (GLL) Choose Tiara9

A leading leisure and cultural charitable social enterprise has just gone live with Tiara9.

Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL) was founded in 1993 to run Greenwich Council’s leisure centres and since 1996 they have expanded the model across the UK. GLL now manage more than 270 public sport and leisure centres, 130 libraries in partnership with more than 50 local councils, public agencies and sporting organisations and host more than 850,000 members and 54 million visitors a year. As a charitable social enterprise, GLL work for the benefit of everyone: the public, the communities they work in, the environment, their staff and partners.

Ethitec’s Tiara9 product is being used by GLL to manage the provision of NHS referred fitness programmes to community members. Initially focussed in London, the plan is to roll the model out UK wide.

Ethitec’s IT solution Tiara9 is a powerful, clinician-friendly electronic patient record and clinical information system, which already delivers the goal of paperless working. Across the UK, services using Tiara9 are directly achieving real efficiency gains and quality improvements as powerful management information is captured as a by-product of clinical recording. Tiara9 incorporates sophisticated appointment booking functionality for out-patient and community services plus direct appointment booking from the NHS e-Referral System. This NHS e-Referral accreditation gives Any Qualified Providers, such as GLL, an effective and affordable solution when offering direct bookings from referrers.
