What can ELMS2 do for CES?

A history of all activity and contact with a client or an identifiable item of equipment is maintained, and deliveries, collection, services, visits, and repairs are scheduled using closely integrated functionality. Stock and parts are tracked against multiple locations, and budget and asset information is recorded and accessible in real-time.

In addition, ELMS2 provides comprehensive functionality to assist with asset management, providing all necessary financial and budgetary information relating to the value (both current and historical) of equipment, depreciated as required. This allows you to monitor ordering patterns by combinations of referrer, budget holder, base, and referrer category.

Comprehensive support for mobile computing and the use of barcoding is offered throughout the system. This allows drivers and technicians who go out into the community to use handheld devices to record delivery status information, and details of on-site services, at the point of contact with the client. For the many external referrers who wish to order equipment from the CES, ELMS2 allows them to place orders directly in to the system via a responsive browser interface that is as easy to use as the popular ‘home shopping’ systems. The module has been designed to be very intuitive, using logical workflows, which helps minimise training overheads.

ELMS2 can automatically email external users directly when a delivery is successfully completed or is unable to take place (e.g. if the client was not at home). This can significantly reduce the load on the service imposed by referrers phoning to query whether a client has received a delivery.
