Ethitec are delighted to announce that they have received a purchase order from NHS Highland to implement their ELMS2 system. ELMS2 has been commissioned to manage both the Community Equipment and Telecare services in the region.

NHS Highland is responsible for providing a wide range of acute care, emergency care, primary care and community based health and social care services to around 230,000 people across a large area of 25,656 sq km (during the summer months the number of people in the area increases significantly due to an influx of tourists). The community equipment and telecare services help Highland residents to live more independently and safely in their own homes, and the ELMS2 system will provide functionality to manage the equipment ordering, installation, maintenance, and recycling processes.

The hosted ELMS2 system will be implemented over the next 3 or 4 months, with Ethitec also providing training, data migration, and consultancy services.
