Inverclyde Council to use ELMS2

Healthcare IT provider Ethitec has been awarded another contract to deliver its ELMS2 software solution to a Community Equipment Service (CES) in Scotland.

We are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded a contract by Inverclyde Council to implement ELMS2, following a detailed competitive tendering process. Through this process, Ethitec and the ELMS2 system were evaluated against the market in various areas including System functionality, Security standards, the quality of our Implementation services, our Data Migration services, and of course, our pricing. The Council’s project team also visited several other CES in the region as part of their evaluations.

Inverclyde is located in West Central Scotland covering an area of 61 square miles stretching along the south bank of the estuary of the River Clyde, with a population of just under 80,000 largely based around the main towns of Greenock, Port Glasgow and Gourock. The CES, which is based at the Inverclyde Centre for Independent Living in Greenock, provides equipment and adaptations to allow people to live safely and independently in their own homes.

ELMS2 is a comprehensive software solution that is widely used across the UK, supporting the efficient management of CES and other areas of NHS and Social Care supplies provision. Ethitec has always been proud of our track record of collaborating with CES across Scotland through the provision of ELMS2, and we continue to support a dedicated, long-standing, and well attended User Group for our Scottish Customers.
