Cumbria County Council purchase ELMS2

Ethitec are very pleased to announce some further success for ELMS2, with the news that Cumbria County Council has awarded Ethitec a three year contract to implement their ELMS2 system to manage the operations of the Community Equipment Service in the region, following a competitive tendering process.

Based out of stores in Ulverston and Maryport, the Cumbria County Council Community Equipment Service helps people to retain their independence and have more control over their lives. A wide range of equipment is available to help the local population, including:

  • simple equipment, such as bath boards which sit across a bath, grab rails around the house, raised toilet seats, chair raisers, etc.;
  • specialist equipment, such as bath lifts, hoists, pressure cushions and mattresses, etc.

Ethitec’s ELMS2 (Equipment Loan Management System) is a comprehensive software solution that supports the efficient management of Integrated Community Equipment Services, Wheelchair Services, and other areas of NHS and Social Care supplies provision. The system supports the ordering, stock management, purchasing, servicing, distribution, sale, rental, and collection of equipment that is loaned out into the community, aided by full support for mobile and remote working. As well as installing the ELMS2 software, Ethitec will be providing a range of professional services to the Council, including data migration, training, consultancy, handholding, and hosting.
