Bridgewater is a leading provider of community health services in the north west of England. The equipment service provides both simple and complex equipment on loan to people living in Halton and St Helens to enable them to remain as independent as possible in the community. Ethitec’s ELMS2 will be used to oversee all of the key aspects of the work delivered by the Service which encompasses the procurement, delivery, collection, decontamination, maintenance, repair and storage of community equipment. This Service allows the Trust to better support early discharge into the community from hospital and admission avoidance schemes. It also minimises moving and handling risks to patient, carers and staff.
As well as installing the ELMS2 software, Ethitec will be providing a range of professional services to the Trust, including data migration, training, consultancy, handholding, and hosting.
Mike Weatherall, Operations Manager at Ethitec, said “It’s shaping up to be a particularly busy few months for Ethitec. New contracts such as this further reinforce ELMS2’s position as the leading IT Solution for equipment services in Health and Social Care. Our staff will be working hard in partnership with the friendly team at the Trust to ensure a successful migration to ELMS2 for them, while ensuring that we continue to offer an excellent service to our existing customers.”
