Earlier this month, professionals representing Community Equipment, Telecare and Wheelchair Services in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland descended upon the King Power Stadium in Leicester for the 40th meeting of the ELMS2 UK User Group.
Having met bi-annually since the Year 2000, the October 2019 event also marked Ethitec’s 20th year of supporting the forum. A specially commissioned cake was unveiled by the Ethitec team over lunch.
Mike Weatherall, Operations Manager at Ethitec, confirmed the company’s ongoing commitment towards both their UK and Regional User Group meetings, and expressed his delight at the continual high-levels of attendance – “We’ve always been a big believer in User Groups. ELMS2 has evolved in the right way because of the valuable input that we get from our customers. The meetings help our software engineers to validate that the system is technically and functionally relevant, and most importantly, to ensure that our customers remain satisfied about their relationship with us. We’re always surprised and delighted that so many users are willing to repeatedly travel for many hours to attend our group events! On behalf of Ethitec, I’d like to offer our sincere thanks to our ELMS2 user community for their ongoing support. We’re looking forward to the next 40…!”.
Ethitec’s Scottish customers have also been meeting regularly since 2006, and some early discussions have now taken place about a regular event in Northern Ireland.
