Your Medical Services are now live on Tiara9

Ethitec are delighted to announce that Your Medical Services (YMS) are now live with the company’s Tiara9 clinical Patient Administration System, using Tiara9 to administer their community vasectomy services. These support Integrated Care Boards and NHS Trusts in managing the demand for male sterilisation services.

YMS’s solutions integrate into existing community settings, providing high-quality, confidential care that reduces waiting times and transfers non-complex care from secondary to community settings. Covering consultation, the vasectomy procedure, aftercare, postal semen testing, and optional counselling appointments, YMS enables NHS systems to meet capacity needs while ensuring efficient, compassionate care delivery.

Tiara9 provides strong support for health-related services managing referrals, waiting lists and recording of clinical contacts. A particular requirement for YMS was the ability for patient referrals to be booked by GPs using the eRS Electronic Referrals Service. Ethitec has an accredited interface to eRS and has been able to assist YMS in offering their services in this way.

Scott Kay, Divisional Director at YMS, says “Ethitec have been fantastic partners throughout the mobilisation of our Tiara9 system. Their support during what was a rapid mobilisation period was exceptional- the team were always incredibly responsive, proactive, and adaptable to our changing needs. It’s been a pleasure working with such a collaborative and solution-focused team who’ve helped ensure a smooth and successful go-live. We would certainly use Ethitec again for any future projects”.

Ethitec looks forward to supporting YMS as they provide this service and the team looks forward to assisting them with future opportunities.

“Ethitec are really easy to work with. They are very thorough in questioning and liaison with us, and moreover, understand the needs of clinicians enough to translate feedback into a technical software process.”

I would like to commend Huzaer on his patience with us during the 2 day training session. He did a fantastic job and gave us the time we needed to ask questions to help improve our confidence with Tiara. Huzaer and our team have some further work to do with regards to the letters and reports, but we are very excited at the capabilities Tiara provides for us.
