Northumbria JELS Go Live with ELMS2

Ethitec are delighted to announce that the Northumberland Joint Equipment Loan Service (JELS) has recently gone live on the ELMS2 system. Hosted by the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, JELS provide equipment to meet both social and health needs in the County from their Cramlington based stores. This vital service delivers many thousands of pieces of community equipment to people in Northumberland each year to help residents live independently at home, and facilitate their safe discharge from hospital. The equipment provided offers assistance to people in the community with their bathing, toileting, sleeping, walking and daily living needs, offering protection from accidents, and providing assistance to help with the carrying out of day to day tasks.

ELMS2 is a leading software solution that is widely used across the UK, supporting the efficient management of Community Equipment Services, Wheelchair Services, and other areas of NHS and Social Care supplies provision. The system provides functionality to manage the equipment ordering, distribution, maintenance, and recycling processes at JELS. As well as installing the ELMS2 software, Ethitec provided a range of professional services to JELS, including data migration, training, consultancy, and handholding, together with ongoing support and hosting.
