Sandwell JES purchase ELMS2
02/10/2009
Sandwell Joint Equipment Service have become the latest Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES) to purchase Ethitec’s ELMS2 system, increasing the dominance of Ethitec’s market-leading ICES management solution in the West Midlands.
Sandwell ICES is jointly funded by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and Sandwell Primary Care Trust. The ELMS2 system has been purchased through a contract with BT, which provides services on behalf of Sandwell MBC under the 'Transform Sandwell' banner. Transform Sandwell delivers a range of corporate and support services including information communication technology, human resources, customer services, procurement and finance.
Mike Weatherall, ELMS2 product manager, said: "Having recently completed a successful deployment of ELMS2 at Sandwell’s neighbours in Dudley, we’re looking forward to returning to the West Midlands and working with the ICES team in Sandwell and their partners at BT. The positive feedback we received from the many ELMS2 customers who came to visit us at the NAEP conference and exhibition in the summer has really helped strengthen our belief that our policy of providing first class customer care and support is paramount in helping us to be successful with sales to other organisations. We’re aware that Sandwell and BT sought feedback from many of these customers before purchasing the ELMS2 system, and we’re confident that they’ll soon be reaping the benefits of working with us”.
